This 5-day itinerary takes you on a journey through some of the region's most popular and fascinating locations, from the bustling coastal city of Da Nang to the charming ancient town of Hoi An, and from the historic Imperial City of Hue to the natural beauty of Bach Ma National Park and the archaeological wonders of My Son Sanctuary. With a mix of cultural and outdoor experiences, this itinerary offers something for everyone and is sure to leave you with lasting memories of your time in Central Vietnam.

Itinerary Detail

Duration: 5 Days/4 nights

Location: Da Nang - Hoi An - Hue - My Son - Bac Ma National Park

Day 1: Da Nang (-/lunch/Dinner)



  •  The tour guide and driver will welcome you at the Da Nang International Airport.

The tour guide will take you to have lunch at a local restaurant.



  • Check-in at the hotel.​

  • Visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, located in the heart of Da Nang. The museum showcases an extensive collection of Cham sculptures and artifacts, dating back to the 7th to 15th centuries. The Cham civilization played a significant role in the development of Central Vietnam and their art is famous for its intricate carvings and striking designs.

The tour guide will take you to have dinner at a local restaurant.



  • Visit njoy the Dragon Bridge, a unique attraction that spans the Han River in Da Nang. The bridge is illuminated at night, and on weekends it comes to life with a spectacular display of fire and water from the dragon head.

  • The tour guide will take you back to the hotel.

You're free to explore the night life in Da Nang or rest.

Day 2: Da Nang - Hoi An (breakfast/lunch/-)



08:00-08:30: The tour guide and driver pick you up at hotel in Da Nang then depart for Hoi An.

  • visiting the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five limestone and marble hills located about 7 km from Da Nang City. The mountains are named after the five elements of the universe: Thuy Son (Water), Moc Son (Wood), Hoa Son (Fire), Kim Son (Metal), and Tho Son (Earth). Take the stairs up to the peak of Thuy Son to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. There are also several caves to explore, including Huyen Khong Cave, which features a stunning natural skylight.

  • Arrive Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 30 km south of Da Nang. Hoi An was once a bustling port town and the architecture of its buildings reflects the influence of various cultures, including Chinese, Japanese, and European. Take a stroll through the town's narrow streets, which are lined with colorful lanterns and traditional buildings.​

  • Check-in at the hotel and rest.​

  • Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, an iconic landmark that dates back to the 18th century. The bridge was built by the Japanese community in Hoi An to connect with the Chinese community on the other side of the river. It is adorned with intricate carvings and a small temple at one end.

  • Return to the hotel and rest.


Free time in the evening to explore Hoi An on your own. We recommend exploring  the Hoi An Night Market, located in the heart of the ancient town. The market is filled with stalls selling souvenirs, handicrafts, and local street food.

Day 3: Hue (breakfast/lunch/-)



08:00-08:30: The tour guide and driver pick you up at hotel in Da Nang then depart for Hue.

  • Explore the Imperial City of Hue, a former capital of Vietnam with a rich history and cultural landmarks. Visit the many palaces, temples, and gates that make up the Imperial City, including the Thai Hoa Palace and the Nine Dynastic Urns.

  • Visit the Forbidden Purple City, a walled palace that was once the residence of the Nguyen dynasty emperors. Learn about the palace's history and significance, and take a stroll through the tranquil gardens that surround it.

  • Check-in hotel and rest.

  • Take a boat ride along the Perfume River, which flows through the heart of Hue City. The river is named for the fragrant flowers that fall into the water from the orchards that line its banks. Along the way, you'll pass several notable sites, including the Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest and most iconic religious buildings in Vietnam.​



Free time In the evening to explore Hue to experience the peaceful life of this tranquil city.

Day 4: My Son Sanctuary and Bach Ma National Park(breakfast/lunch/-)



08:00-08:30: The tour guide and driver pick you up at the hotel in Hue.

  • Begin your day by traveling to My Son Sanctuary, a complex of Hindu temples and ruins that date back to the Champa Kingdom, which ruled over Central Vietnam from the 2nd to the 19th centuries. The temples are located about 40 km from Hoi An and are surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills. Take a guided tour to learn about the history and architecture of the site and explore the many temples and shrines that dot the area.

  • Travel to Bach Ma National Park, a nature reserve known for its biodiversity, waterfalls, and stunning mountain views. Go on a guided trek through the park's lush forests, and spot a variety of wildlife along the way. Take a dip in the park's refreshing pools and waterfalls, and enjoy the stunning natural scenery.

  • Return to Hue and the tour guide will drop you off at your hotel.

Day 5: Hue - Da Nang (breakfast/lunch/-)



08:00-08:30: The tour guide and driver pick you up at the hotel in Hue then depart for Da Nang.

  • Take some time to relax and explore Da Nang City before departing. Visit one of the city's many beaches, such as My Khe Beach or Non Nuoc Beach, and soak up the sun and surf. Alternatively, explore the city's many museums and cultural attractions, such as the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts or the Da Nang Cathedral.

  • The tour guide and driver will drop you off at Da Nang International Airport or on to your next destination.
