Itinerary Detail

Duration: 5 Days/4 nights

Location: Hanoi → Ha Long Bay→ Hanoi

Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival and City Tour (lunch/dinner)

 

Morning:

  • Arrive in Hanoi and meet your private car and guide. Transfer to your hotel to check-in and freshen up.

 

  • ​​​The tour guide will take you to have lunch at a restaurant.

 Afternoon: 

Begin your tour of Hanoi's historic district, where you'll see some of the city's oldest architecture and learn about its rich history.

  • Visit the Opera House. Built by the French colonial administration in the early 20th century, this elegant building is one of Hanoi's most important cultural landmarks. Take a guided tour of the building's interior and learn about its history and architecture.

  • Walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, a picturesque body of water that sits at the heart of Hanoi. Admire the scenery and learn about the lake's role in local folklore, which tells of a giant turtle that once lived in the lake and helped a Vietnamese king defeat an invading army.

  • Visit Ngoc Son Temple, an ancient temple that sits on a small island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Explore the temple's many shrines and learn about its history and religious significance.

  • End your tour in the Old Quarter, where you can enjoy lunch at one of the area's many excellent restaurants.

The tour guide will take you have dinner at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant.

You're free to explore Hanoi to experience the amazing night life or rest at in the hotel if you're feeling exhausted.​

 

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (breakfast/lunch)​

Morning:

08h00-08h30: The tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel then have breakfast.

  • The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of Vietnam. The complex includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, the One-Pillar Pagoda, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

  • Temple of Literature, the first national university of Vietnam, dating back to the 11th century. This temple is a beautiful example of traditional Vietnamese architecture, and it's dedicated to Confucius.

The tour guide will take you to have lunch at a restaurant.

 

Afternoon: 

 

  • Visit the Museum of Ethnology, which showcases the ethnic diversity of Vietnam. The museum has an extensive collection of artifacts, clothing, and tools from various ethnic groups across the country.

  • Visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum to learn about the history of the French colonial period and the Vietnamese war of independence.

  • Water Puppet Show: This traditional Vietnamese art form involves puppeteers controlling puppets that are floating on water, telling stories and entertaining audiences.​

Evening 

  • The tour guide will take you back to the hotel.

You're free to explore the night life and try many delicious street foods Hanoi have to offer.

Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

​Morning: 

  • 08h00-08h30: Depart to Ha Long Bay. The journey will take 3 hours and arrive at Hon Gai International harbor at noon time. 

Afternoon:

 

  • Check-in Majestic Cruise (2 cabins or 4 cabins) for private or share with some people.

 

  • Welcome to Majestic Cruise with welcome drink and a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

 

  • Enjoy traditional Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay and enjoying the stunning view.

  • Visit Van Gia floating fishing village, take rowing boat through the village or kayaking for visiting around the village. Continued exploration the bay. Visiting Ha Long Pearl Farm Village, and Swimming in the bay.

  • Have dinner on the Majestic

Evening:

Have your free time to enjoy the bay at night or simply relax in your room and fresh yourself.

 

Day 4: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (breakfast/lunch)

 

Morning:

  • Early morning Tai Chi lesson on sun-deck.

 

  • Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast. Arrive Sung Sot Cave and joining with guide to visiting and explore the cave. Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay. Enjoy the lunch on cruise.

 

Afternoon:

 

  • Majestic Cruise dock Ha Long Bay harbor. farewell to the staffs and sailors to end cruise. 

  • Our private transportation will pick up you at the harbor and take you back to Hanoi

  • Visit the Yen Duc village after 2-hours drive where you enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists.

  • Arrive in Hanoi then check-in at the hotel.

 

Evening:

 

  • You're free to discover Hanoi on your own or rest at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Hanoi (breakfast)

 

Morning:

  • Check out of the hotel

  • Transfer to the airport or to your next destination

Children Policy

  • Children from 1-4 years old are free (parents take care of all expenses for children, do not occupy seats in the car). 02 adults can be attached for free with 1 child. From the 2nd child and above, the fee is 75% of the tour price.

  • If 01 adult is accompanied by 01 child from 1-4 years old, the child must buy 50% of the adult’s tour price (enjoy the service like children 5-9 years old).

  • Children from 5-9 years old pay 75% of tour price (separate meals, separate seat in private cars but must sleep with parents). 02 charged children also do not have their own bed.

  • Children 10 years and older are counted as adults.

Special Notes

  • Wear suitable walking shoes or clothing

  • When visiting Ho Chi Minh Monuments, do not wear shorts (shorts) or short skirts above the knees.
