Itinerary Detail

Duration: 14 days/13 nights

Location: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Da Nang - Hoi An - Hue - Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc Island

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival 

Morning:

We welcome you to Hanoi. Our guide and driver will meet you at the Noi Bai International Airport then take you to downtown to check-in hotel.

Afternoon:

  • ​ Check-in hotel and rest.

 

Evening:

You are free to explore the night life in Hanoi and try the local street foods.

Day 2: Hanoi - City Tour (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

Morning:

 08h00-08h30: The guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel.​

  • The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of Vietnam. The complex includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, the One-Pillar Pagoda, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

  • Temple of Literature, the first national university of Vietnam, dating back to the 11th century. This temple is a beautiful example of traditional Vietnamese architecture, and it's dedicated to Confucius.

 

​​​The tour guide will take you to have lunch at a restaurant.

 Afternoon: 

  • Visit the Museum of Ethnology, which showcases the ethnic diversity of Vietnam. The museum has an extensive collection of artifacts, clothing, and tools from various ethnic groups across the country.

  • Explore the Old Quarter, a bustling area of narrow streets and alleys that date back to the 13th century. The area is home to many historical sites, such as the Bach Ma Temple, the Dong Xuan Market, and the Hanoi Opera House.

  • Next, we will visit Hoan Kiem Lake, which is located in the heart of Hanoi. This scenic lake is surrounded by many historic buildings and temples, and it's a popular spot for locals to gather and relax.

  • End the tour by watching a traditional water puppet show, which is a unique art form that originated in Vietnam. The show is performed in a pool of water, and the puppeteers use long bamboo poles to control the puppets.

Day 3: Hanoi​ - Half Day City Jeep Tour (breakfast/lunch/-)

Morning:

08:00-08:30: The tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel.

  • Discover Hanoi city by an open-air war-time Jeep car throughout Hanoi’s small and zig zag street. It will show you the true vibrant life of the locals, as well as famous sights.

The tour guide will take you to have lunch at a restaurant.

 

Afternoon: 

 

  • Return to Hotel and rest.

Day 4: Hanoi​ - Ha Long Bay (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

Morning:

08:00 – 8:30: The tour guide and driver will pick up you at the hotel the depart for Ha Long City. The journey time will take 2.5 hours.

Afternoon:

  • Check-in at Ambassador Lounge You will be checked-in in the Ambassador lounge at B135-B138 Ha Long Street.

  • Transferred to Ambassador Cruise and given a short briefing about Ambassador Cruise at Ha Long International Cruise Port while sipping your welcome drink at Piano Lounge or restaurant.

  • Lunch at Ambassador Restaurant Lunch will be served in the restaurant while Ambassador Cruise heads toward Ha Long Bay. You will pass the thousands of towering limestone islands.

  • Excursion Your first excursion is a visit to Tung Sau Pearl Farm, an area in Ha Long Bay dedicated to growing pearls and practicing a handmade technique based on Vietnamese tradition and Japanese technology. This is also an ideal destination for kayaking*

  • Excursion Your second stop of the day is popular Ti Tov Island, where you can go swimming or hike to the top for another stunning, panoramic view of the Bay

  • Onboard activities If the excursion does not take your fancy, stay on board and you can opt for an afternoon of pampering at Ambassador Spa*, enjoy the outdoor Jacuzzi or treat yourself to a delicious standard afternoon tea at Piano Lounge.

Evening:

  • Pre-Dinner Sunset Cocktails*

  • At sunset, Ambassador Cruise will anchor overnight at Coconut Tree Island. Enjoying Pre-Dinner Sunset Cocktails* and canapes at the bar on the twin sundeck or enjoy live music at Piano Lounge.

  • Dinner at Ambassador restaurant Savour a delicious dinner party in the restaurant. After dinner, indulge in drinks*, squid fishing, a spa treatment at Ambassador Spa* or movies in your cabin. 

  • 20:30: Live music at Piano Lounge Join us for a glamorous night with live music from Midnight Buzz Band (except Monday) as you sip on our wine collection*.

  • Check-in at Ambassador Lounge You will be checked-in in the Ambassador lounge at B135-B138 Halong Street.

  • After that, you will be transferred to Ambassador Cruise and given a short briefing about Ambassador Cruise at Ha Long International Cruise Port while sipping your welcome drink at Piano Lounge or restaurant.

Day 5: Ha Long bay – Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang – Hoi An (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

 

Morning:

  • Tai Chi on the sundeck – Watch the sunrise with a Tai Chi session on the twin sundeck.

  • Light breakfast Enjoying tea, coffee, and cake in the restaurant

  • Excursion Explore Sung Sot Cave – the largest and most magnificent cave in the bay where you can see the stalactites in different forms.

  • Breakfast Buffet at Ambassador Restaurant Back on board, a buffet breakfast will be served as we once again cruise past Bai Tu Long Bay before your bill settlement, check-out, and return to Ha Long International Cruise Port.

  • Disembark at the Ha Long International Cruise Port.

The driver will pick up you at the port and depart for Noi Bai International Airport for a flight to Da Nang.

Da Nang arrival, our tour guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to Hoi An and check-in hotel.

Day 6: Hoi AN Ancient Town (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

 

Morning:

The tour guide will meet you at your hotel.

 

  • Walking tour of the ancient town center to visit former merchants’ houses. the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese communal hall and the colorful market.

  • ​explore the narrow streets and alleyways, browse the many boutiques and handicraft shops, or simply soak up the town's unique atmosphere.   

 

The tour guide will take you experience many delicious street foods in Hoi An.

Afernoon:

  • Experience one of Vietnam’s traditional arts with disadvantaged artisans by making a foldable Hoi An lantern. This is an opportunity to turn their creative ideas into a functional work of art. Learn how to create a one-of-a-kind lantern in which folds flat and can be easily taken home as a souvenir.

  • Cycling tour in the countryside, cycling through the rice fields and villages.

Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

 

Morning:

08:00-08:30: The tour guide and driver will pick up you at the hotel depart for Da Nang then Hue.

  • Visit the Marble Mountains: The Marble Mountains are a group of five limestone and marble hills, each with its own unique caves, temples, and pagodas. Visitors can climb to the top for stunning panoramic views of Da Nang and the surrounding countryside.

Afternoon:

  • Arrive in Hue

  • Visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Hue: This museum houses the largest collection of Cham sculptures and artifacts in the world, dating back to the 7th to 15th centuries. The intricate stone carvings depict the Cham people's religious beliefs, daily life, and cultural traditions. 

 

Check-in hotel then the tour guide will take you have dinner at a restaurant.

You're leisure to explore Hue on your own or rest at the hotel.

 

Day 8: Hue - Ho Chi Minh City (breakfast/lunch/-)

 

Morning:

08:00 – 8:30: The tour guide and driver will pick up you at the hotel.

  • Take a boat trip along the peaceful Perfume River.

 

  • Visit Thien Mu (Celestial Lady) Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River; constructed in 1601 the 21-meter tall tower is the centerpiece of the pagoda and represents seven reincarnations of Buddha.

  • Visit the former Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945.

The tour guide will take you have lunch at the Tha Om Garden house.

 

Afternoon:

 

  • Check-out hotel then Transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

 

Morning:

08:00 – 8:30: The tour guide and driver will pick up you at the hotel.

  • Depart for the Saigon River and join in the speedboat along Saigon River to reach Cu Chi tunnels. Leaving the city behind, the scenery changes to views of rice paddies, lush gardens along the side of one of the busiest riverways – Saigon River which also the main transportation way in this biggest city.

  • Arrive at the entrance of the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. Hear the tales of how these tunnels were built while walking through the forest and experience first-hand what life was like living underground. There are also several other informative displays and war relics around the area to explore.​

The tour guide will take you have lunch at a restaurant then return to Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Afternoon:

 

  • Visit the Reunification Palace: This historic building was the site of the end of the Vietnam War when North Vietnamese tanks crashed through its gates. Visitors can tour the palace and learn about its role in Vietnam's history. 

  • Visit the Ben Thanh Market: This iconic market is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Vietnam. You can find a variety of goods, including clothes, jewelry, souvenirs, and food.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

 

Morning:

08:00 – 8:30: The tour guide and driver will pick up you at the hotel.

  • Depart Ben Tre and the scenic countryside once we leave the buzz of Ho Chi Minh City. Situated at the edge of the Mekong Delta, Ben Tre is the perfect starting point for this insightful excursion.

  • Take a xe loi tour, a local motorized cart. Bounce along back paths through coconut groves, lush rice paddies and fruit farms a picturesque canal. Step aboard the ‘Mango Cruise’ and cast of for a glimpse of Delta scenery. Sip a freshly picked coconut as the boat winds through the maze of canals.

  • Visit small brick workshop where locals still use centuries-old traditional methods to make the bricks by hand. Observe this labor-intensive process, then return to the boat and cross the An Hoa River.

 

  • Take a short bike ride through Phong Nam, a typical delta village. Visit a local house to see coconut processing by hand and learn how every part of the coconut is used. Continue cycling through gardens and stop to visit a ruou dua factory, observe the process of making the coconut spirits.

 

  • Visit to a family home. Enjoy the tropical fruits and honey tea in the garden and hear how the family relies on fishing and farming to make a living. After this unique immersive visit, climb into a sampan boat and row through a hidden maze of small, sun-dappled canals gaining an insider's perspective on daily river life.

  • Lunch at the  Mango Home Stay restaurant to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese food in Ben Tre.

Afternoon:

  • Visit Mr. Sau Tuong to enjoy afternoon tea with Mr. Sou Truong in his green garden.  As he explain the process and watch as his wife makes crispy rice paper, the most famous specialty of this village.

  • Return to Ho Chi Minh City

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc Island (breakfast/-/-)

  • Upon arrival at Phu Quoc Island, our driver will welcome you and transfer to the resort for check-in and relax at the resort.​

  • norkeling excursion: take a boat and depart to the near by An Thoi Islands located off the southern coast of Phu Quoc and is known for its clear waters and colorful marine life. Snorkeling is a popular activity here, and you can also visit the nearby fishing villages to learn about the local way of life.

Afternoon and evening:

Free to explore Phu Quoc Island or relax at the resort.

Children Policy

  • Children from 1-4 years old are free (parents take care of all expenses for children, do not occupy seats in the car). 02 adults can be attached for free with 1 child. From the 2nd child and above, the fee is 75% of the tour price.

  • If 01 adult is accompanied by 01 child from 1-4 years old, the child must buy 50% of the adult’s tour price (enjoy the service like children 5-9 years old).

  • Children from 5-9 years old pay 75% of tour price (separate meals, separate seat in private cars but must sleep with parents). 02 charged children also do not have their own bed.

  • Children 10 years and older are counted as adults.

Special Notes

  • You must bring: legal identification (ID card or Passport)

  • You should bring: insect repellent, common cold medicine or medicines prescribed separately by your doctor.
